Keyboard virtuoso and early-music expert Matthew Dirst describes the new Flemish-style harpsichord just acquired by St. Philip Presbyterian Church. Dirst previews the recital that he and Houston Symphony violinist Kurt Johnson will perform to inaugurate this brand-new instrument, which was patterned after centuries-old European models.
