On Sunday, August 26, downtown Houston will throw wide the gates of Jones Hall, the Alley Theatre, and the Hobby and Wortham Centers, and invite everyone to join them in their annual celebration of the performing arts. We begin our run-up to the 19th Houston Theater District Open House with our annual conversation with Andrew Huang, president of the Houston Downtown Alliance, the civic board that oversees and coordinates activities in the District.
