Houston Ballet’s new executive director James Nelson gets us started on our countdown to the city’s new performing arts season by previewing his company’s 2012-2013 line-up of productions, the first of which is Madame Butterfly, opening in less than a month. Houston Ballet is one of the major arts organizations that will host downtown Houston’s 19th Annual Theatre District Open House on Sunday, August 26.
