Houston Grand Opera’s artistic and music director Patrick Summers talks about the productions that his company will present during the coming season; and mezzo-soprano Cecilia Duarte performs an aria from the world’s first Mariachi opera, Cruzar la Cara de la Luna – To Cross the Face of the Moon -- which HGO commissioned and premièred in 2010 as part of its Song of Houston initiative, and which it will present again next March.
