Choreographer Amy Ell talks about her obsession with fabric, literally and figuratively. Her latest work is called Thread: Stories of Eight Women and Their Lessons in Limitation. It uses volumes of white fabric piled from back to front, and floor to ceiling, to investigate the ways we deal with life's obstacles.
